A dance between client and therapist, in which the client is in control.
Technique
Specializing in a more clinical approach to massage, my work is focused around injuries due to car accidents, sports, pre/post operative and repetitive stress. I combine a variety of massage techniques, such as, deep tissue, myofascial release, structural integration and trigger point therapy. Treating such diagnosis including, but not limited to, whiplash, chronic pain, limited mobility, carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, postural corrections, osteoarthritis pain, fibromyalgia, muscle tension or spasm. I work closely with pre-natal care and am certified to teach infant massage.
Experience
I have built a well rounded and solid foundation of clinical knowledge and hands on work. Including area surgical and oncology units, Chiropractors Dr. Devine and Dr. Tuttle in Seattle, Physical Therapists at One to One Physical Therapy in Tacoma, performers and musicians with Seattle Symphony and Pacific Northwest Ballet, Beijing 2008 and Whistler 2010 Olympians, Transition Bike Professional Downhill Mountain Biking Team, performers and musicians with Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus and Cirque du Soleil, Detroit Zoo and Point Defiance Zoo.
